Rev. Dr. Wanda Bynum Duckett is a passionate coach and leader with a heart for urban ministry, preaching, and spoken word poetry. A native of Baltimore, she brings a unique blend of creativity and theological depth to her work, shaped by her academic journey through UMBC, St. Mary’s Ecumenical Institute, and Wesley Theological Seminary, where she earned her Doctor of Ministry. Her dissertation, *Sacred Slam: Spoken Word Poetry as Sacred Art for Sacred Space*, reflects her innovative approach to ministry.
Having recently served as the Baltimore Metropolitan District Superintendent, Dr. Duckett has been in pastoral ministry since 2006. She is deeply committed to helping others navigate life’s challenges with grace and purpose. A proud mother and grandmother, she is guided by her life verse, Romans 8:28, believing in God’s ability to work all things together for good. Her coaching empowers others to find their voice and live into their calling.
