Rev. Twanda E. King

Rev. Twanda E. King is a compassionate coach and seasoned leader devoted to helping others navigate the demands of ministry and discover wholeness in their journey. An ICF-trained coach since 2013, she serves as a facilitator with the Mid-Atlantic United Methodist Foundation and Strengthening the Black Church. Drawing from her own experiences, including overcoming clergy burnout, Rev. King empowers pastors to “BREATHE” and embrace rest as a spiritual practice. She shares this wisdom in her book, *Breathe – A Pastor’s Journey to Wholeness*.

A native of Baltimore and an Elder in the United Methodist Church, she pastors Union United Methodist Church in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. With degrees from Morgan State University and Lancaster Theological Seminary, as well as ongoing studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Rev. King combines faith, expertise, and self-care advocacy to support others in thriving both spiritually and emotionally.
