Rev. Joseph E. Washington

Rev. Joseph E. Washington is an inspiring coach, pastor, and visionary leader with over 40 years of ministry experience in The United Methodist Church. With a background in Political Science and a Master of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center, Rev. Washington has dedicated his life to advancing justice and equality. From pastoring churches across Boston, New York, and South Carolina to leading initiatives such as SharedCare and the Academy of Hope, his work has consistently focused on uplifting underserved communities through education, health care, and economic empowerment.

As a former Executive Secretary for Africa with the Board of Global Ministries, Rev. Washington has cultivated relationships with global leaders and missionaries, furthering the church’s mission worldwide. Currently pastoring HOPE Church, an inclusive and transformational community, he combines spiritual formation with social impact. Rev. Washington’s coaching empowers others to embrace their purpose and effect meaningful change in their communities.
