Reverend André R. Briscoe, Jr. is a dedicated United Methodist elder serving in the Baltimore Washington Annual Conference. Since 2015, he has been the pastor of Saint Matthew’s New Life United Methodist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. With degrees from Howard University and Wesley Theological Seminary, where he is also pursuing advanced theological studies, Reverend Briscoe combines a rich academic background with a passion for urban ministry and community engagement.
Reverend Briscoe has over 20 years of experience as Director of Music and Organist for various faith communities and is recognized for his contributions, including winning the inaugural organ fellowship from the African Heritage and Cultural Institute of America. Deeply involved in leadership within the Baltimore Washington Conference, his ministry is driven by a love for sharing the Gospel and a commitment to glorifying God while edifying the Body of Christ.
