CONGREGATION RESOURCE CENTER


PRIMARY TASK

Congregation Resource Centers accept the primary task of training and equipping partner congregations via covenant relationships.

Congregation Resource Centers host training events, expose partner churches to new ministries, provide support and follow up.

Congregation Resource Centers are in rural, urban, and suburban America that exemplify characteristics of a vital congregation.  These characteristics include but are not limited to the following descriptive statements:

  • Value Clergy & Lay Leadership
  • Demonstrate clarity of the Church’s Mission by the Congregation
  • Are creatively and faithfully engaged with their residential community
  • Foster partnership between clergy and laity
  • Enable and nurture all persons to grown spiritually, practice their faith and equip them for service
  • Engaged in vibrant and varied worship life
  • Provide for Education, Bible Study and Other Faith Formation Development
  • Effective Planning and Administration
